Ida B. Wells
I've been updating links on the 1890 and 1920 pages and have noted many that have gone dead or retreated behind subscription walls. The latest is the the free online version of Ida B. Wells's "THE REASON WHY The Colored American is not in the World's Columbian Exposition," which used to be at http://womhist.binghamton.edu/moving.html but is now gone since the "Women and Social Movements in the United States" has become a subscription-only site. Fortunately, the Wells piece is available for free here: http://digital.library.upenn.edu/women/wells/exposition/exposition.html
