Every so often, the RSS feed for Project Gutenberg yields some surprising gems. This time, it was Short Story Classics (American) Vol. 2 by Various, which has stories by Harold Frederic and Bret Harte, among others. I've updated the Harold Frederic page to link to "Brother Sebastian's Friendship" and will do the same for the other relevant pages.

Native American literature bibliography

It seems that the bibliographies tend to get updated when I'm preparing the "Fiction: 1900-1930" chapter for American Literary Scholarship every year, and this year is no exception: there are some additions to the Native American literature bibliography, although it's still very limited.
