Updates to 1850 page

In updating the 1850s page at the site to include The Garies and their Friends, I noticed that it was a very early version that had been transferred from the GU site rather than the more complete version of the page. I'm not sure how that happened but will check all the timeline pages now to see if the most recent versions made it to the WSU site.

Updates to Dreiser page and GU pages

New texts available from the Theodore Dreiser page and the page on Sui Sin Far (Edith Eaton). More of the Gonzaga pages have had redirect scripts (or tags, or codes, or whatever) inserted so that they automatically forward the reader to the new site.

Mary Wilkins Freeman redux

A new article on and picture of MEW Freeman from the 1892 Ladies' Home Journal has been posted, courtesy of Jeff Kaylin.

Updates to Realism bibliography

I've posted some updates to the Realism bibliography.

Entirely unrelated: this site has lovely postcard pictures of Los Angeles in the early days. This is usually something I'd put on the clip blog; they're really worth a look. (Warning: This site plays sound on some of its pages, unfortunately.)
